Monsignor Kieran Harrington, President & Chairman
The Reverend Monsignor Kieran E. Harrington, V.E. is Vicar for Communications for the Diocese of Brooklyn and the Rector of the Co-Cathedral of Saint Joseph in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. In 2001, Monsignor Harrington was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Brooklyn. The Most Reverend Nicholas DiMarzio appointed him to his most recent positions in December 2006 and 2008, respectively. His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI elevated him to the rank of Papal Chaplain with the title of Reverend Monsignor on September 3, 2009. From 2009 through 2018, Monsignor Harrington hosted “In The Arena,” a weekly series on WOR radio, with world-renowned guests, intense debates and compelling interviews covering topics from a Catholic cultural perspective. He graduated cum laude from St. John’s University with a degree in Philosophy. He holds a Masters of Divinity degree from the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception and an MBA from the New York University Stern School of Business. Reverend Monsignor Kieran Harrington is a Knight of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre, a Knight of Columbus, and a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians. He serves on the boards of the Futures in Education Foundation, the Catholic Technology Network, and Cristo Rey Brooklyn High School. He is the recipient of numerous awards and honors, including the Saint Thomas More Award of the Catholic Lawyers Guild, the Father Mychal Judge Award at the Great Irish Fair in Brooklyn, New York, and the John Paul II Distinguished Stewardship Award.

William Maier, Chief Executive Officer
Bill’s career includes more than 25 years of experience in media, marketing and digital technology. Prior to joining DeSales, he was president of Atlantic Television, a producer of multi-platform content for ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, ESPN, Discovery, A&E, TLC, CNN, Travel Channel, SiriusXM, the NFL, Major League Baseball, EA Sports, Sports Illustrated, Yahoo, and Sporting News, among others. As division president of Interpublic Group, Bill headed the television marketing team that created blended-media content for major national brands, such as Coca Cola, General Motors, Kraft, Johnson & Johnson, Unilever, L’Oreal, Capitol Music, and others. Bill was born in the Diocese of Brooklyn, and was baptized at Holy Child Jesus in Richmond Hill. When he was a child, his family moved to Long Island, where he attended St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Grade School and Holy Family Diocesan High School. He is a graduate of St. John’s University. He lives in East Northport, New York with his wife, Carol, and their four children, Jennifer, Kaitlyn, Will and Sarah. He and his family are involved in many community organizations and are active parishioners at St. Anthony of Padua in East Northport. Together, Bill and Carol are also recipients of the Diocese of Rockville Centre’s St. Agnes Medal of Service.

Len Camporeale, Director of Marketing and Digital
Len leads a team committed to using digital and traditional marketing techniques to expand and energize Catholic communities in the Diocese of Brooklyn and beyond. He spent the last 15+ years driving marketing strategy and implementing omnichannel communications programs in the US and UK healthcare markets. Len is a graduate of St. John’s with an MBA in Marketing Management & BS in Finance and attended St. Francis Prep High School. He grew up in Our Lady of Lourdes parish in Queens Village and is now a member of St. Mary of the Isle parish in the Diocese of Rockville Centre.

Marco Colacito, Director of Human Resources
Marco is responsible for talent management, employee relations, benefits, employee experience, management training, coaching and consulting, talent acquisition, culture change, and workforce planning. Prior to working at DeSales, Marco spent the majority of his HR career (17+ years) at Thomson Reuters working in their tax division as HR Director. While there, Marco led the ONESOURCE team of over 1,300 employees and a revenue of over $450m. Marco has his BBA from Baruch College and his MA from The New School, both in Human Resources Management. He is also currently pursuing a Certificate in Happiness from the Happiness Studies Academy. Marco, his wife, Angela, and their daughter, Athena, are active parishioners at the Church of Saint Aidan in the Diocese of Rockville Centre.

JoAnn DiNapoli, Director of Sales
JoAnn is responsible for managing cross-platform sales efforts in broadcast, print, and digital advertising. She comes to DeSales from the NY Daily News, where she was employed for 17 years. JoAnn held the position of Retail Sales Director at the Daily News, managing the local sales team for Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island, Manhattan, and Staten Island. She is a parishioner of St. Joseph – St. Thomas parish in the Archdiocese of New York.

Vito Formica, Executive Director of News Content and Development
Vito brings 25 years of experience as a TV news producer and journalist. He is leading the mission at DeSales to build an operation that covers a range of news and information from the Catholic perspective. Before joining DeSales, Vito worked in the secular news world. He was on the launch team of cable news network Al Jazeera America in New York. Prior to his time at the cable network, Vito worked at large-market stations, producing number-one rated newscasts in Los Angeles and Miami. He is currently a parishioner at St. Ann’s in Hoboken, where Frank Sinatra was baptized!

Gina Krainchich, Director of Educational Media Services
Gina is responsible for the digital instructional resources offered to diocesan schools under the umbrella of the Catholic Telemedia Network. Gina began her work with CTN more than 30 years ago when instructional television was state-of-the-art technology. She graduated from Hofstra University with a degree in Communication Arts. Gina is a member of St. Thomas Aquinas parish in Brooklyn, the beautiful “borough of churches.”

Vincent LeVien, Director of External Affairs
AVincent is responsible for government and community affairs. Previously, Vincent was Director of Intergovernmental Affairs for the New York State Comptroller. During more than 15 years in government service, Vincent served as Lead Advance for the White House advance teams of President Obama, President Clinton, and Vice President Gore. He also acted in the same capacity for members of the United States Congress and Senate. Vincent is an active parishioner at Our Lady of Lourdes parish in Malverne, NY.

Dave Plisky, Director of Product and Strategy
After 2.5 years as Director of Marketing & Digital, Dave has moved into a new role in order to lead the company forward in technology. Dave has spent 15+ years marketing across industries in Los Angeles, New York, and Prague. He graduated magna cum laude from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a degree in business, and is an alumnus of Seth Godin’s altMBA. A true millennial, he celebrates Mass at various parishes in Astoria and around NYC.

Adriana Rodriguez, Director of Communications/Press Secretary
Adriana handles all communications and media inquiries for the Diocese of Brooklyn. She comes to DeSales after a 25-year career in the television news business, as a reporter and producer. She covered the aftermath of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. A Queens native, Adriana attended Diocese of Brooklyn elementary and high schools. She has a BA in Journalism from New York University and is finishing her Master’s Degree in Public Relations at Hofstra University. She is a parishioner at St. Anne’s in the Diocese of Rockville Centre.

Fidel Sciortino, Director of Technology
Fidel is responsible for all internal enterprise applications, voice/data development, desktop support and computer technology, including collaboration, cloud computing, data center/virtualization, business continuity, and disaster recovery. Earlier, Fidel served as the Technology Director at Unicef and served as a key technology advisor for video production standards at the Internet, Broadcast and Image Section. Prior to that, he designed, created and managed the IT Technical Operations and Apple technologies departments at A&E Television Networks. Fidel has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and a Graphic Design degree from Caracas, Venezuela.

Bob Sharp, Director of Engineering
Bob comes to DeSales after over 30 years of working in the design, construction, management and operations of broadcast and media facilities, with experience in news, sports, feature entertainment and post-production. He has handled the many transitions the media industry has undergone—from analog to digital, from broadcast to streaming, and from SD to HD to UHD—for companies ranging from boutique edit facilities in New York City to global media companies (ESPN, HBO, Showtime, MTV/Viacom, NBC/Comcast, Cablevision). Bob brings his experience in standards development and application to his role at DeSales, covering Engineering, Technical Support, and Master Control Operations. After several years as a parishioner at Saint Francis DeSales on Long Island, he now is seeking “the right” parish near his new home on Staten Island.

Craig Tubiolo, Director of Programming and Production
Craig has directed and produced award-winning films and TV shows. Craig studied communications at The College of Staten Island and has continued his education at NYU’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies. Craig is a member at St. Athanasius parish in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn.
