Monsignor’s Message – Easter Sunday

Posted on Apr 12, 2017 in Monsignor's Message

This is a message from Msgr. Kieran Harrington, Vicar for Communications for the Diocese of Brooklyn that appears in The Tablet:

He is risen! Our Easter celebration is the Lord’s victory over sin and death. In these last forty days, we have fasted and prayed. We have sought to purify our hearts and put to death inordinate desires. Some of us are in bondage to anger and resentment, others are captive to addictions, others struggle with sadness or ill health. Christ will nail all these to the cross. We are like the good thief, convicted and justly condemned. Yet, if we acknowledge our sins and but beg the Lord to remember us – we can be sure to share with Him eternal life.

May God bless you.
Monsignor Kieran Harrington, V.E.
