In its third year, the Diocese of Brooklyn led the Annual Diocesan Lenten Pilgrimage initiative, which invited people to participate in station churches throughout Brooklyn and Queens. There, they had the opportunity to participate in a daily pilgrimage for Eucharistic Adoration.

Our creative team designed banners, pamphlets, and certificates to promote the daily schedules and events of the day. The experience was enhanced for a second year in a row with a mobile app, where participants were able to check in, monitor milestones, submit prayer intentions, and pray for others.

The Diocesan Lenten Pilgrimage website was enhanced to feature weekly schedules, highlight Jubilee Stationed locations, include photo galleries of past events, and videos with daily Lenten Reflections from deacons throughout the diocese. These reflections were also a new feature on the app this year.

As part of our Marketing efforts to promote the Diocesan Lenten Pilgrimage, we advertised in The Tablet, on our social platforms, and through weekly emails.
Many faithful participated. Based on a survey conducted by our team, participants reported a positive experience and look forward to participating in the journey again next year. They described it as unique, special, prayerful, enriching, spiritual, holy, and quite rewarding.
