Monsignor Kieran Harrington
The Reverend Monsignor Kieran E. Harrington, V.E., is Vicar for Communications for the Diocese of Brooklyn. He is the President and Chairman of DeSales Media Group. Monsignor Harrington is also the Rector of the Co-Cathedral of Saint Joseph in the Prospect Heights section of Brooklyn. He graduated cum laude from St. John’s University with a degree in Philosophy. He holds a Master’s of Divinity degree from the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception and an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business.
As Chief Executive Officer, Art Dignam has overall responsibility for day-to-day operations at DeSales Media. Previously Art was a consultant with his own firm, and an executive with a number of entertainment/broadcast companies including NBC. He is a CPA and has an accounting degree from Fordham University, as well as an MBA from NYU. He is an adjunct professor in the Graduate Business School at Queens College. Art and his wife, Joan, are active parishioners at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs parish in Centerport, NY.
As Editor of The Tablet and Senior Correspondent for DeSales Media, Ed Wilkinson is responsible for publishing the diocesan newspaper on a weekly basis. He has been a member of The Tablet’s staff for 44 years. He received a BA in Philosophy from Cathedral College and studied theology for a year at Immaculate Conception Seminary, Huntington. He is an active parishioner at Our Lady of Angels parish in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.
Jorge I. Domínguez-López is the editor of Nuestra Voz, the Spanish-language newspaper of the Diocese of Brooklyn. He studied Cybernetics and Mathematics at the University of Havana and received a BA degree in History from St. John’s University. Mr. Domínguez-López was founder and editorial board member of the Catholic magazine Vivarium in Havana Cuba. He was editor of Béisbol Mundial magazine of New York. He is a parishioner of Holy Name of Mary parish in Valley Stream, New York.
As Director of Educational Media Services, Gina Krainchich is responsible for the digital instructional resources offered to diocesan schools under the umbrella of the Catholic Telemedia Network. Gina began her work with CTN more than 30 years ago. She graduated from Hofstra University with a degree in Communication Arts. Gina is a member of St. Thomas Aquinas parish in Brooklyn, the beautiful “borough of churches.”
As Director of External Affairs, Vincent LeVien is responsible for government and community affairs. Previously, Vincent was Director of Intergovernmental Affairs for the New York State Comptroller. During more than 15 years in government service, Vincent served as Lead Advance for the White House advance teams of President Obama, President Clinton, and Vice President Gore. He also acted in the same capacity for members of the United States Congress and Senate. Vincent is an active parishioner at Our Lady of Lourdes parish in Malverne, NY.
Mike Mitchell is the Director of Engineering, responsible for the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of all broadcast and media production, post-production, and transmission systems. Mike was the VP and Chief Engineer of Madison Square Garden’s Media & Networks where he led the design and integration of all audio, video, broadcast, and media technologies. MSG won more than 170 NY Emmys during Mike’s tenure using technologies he designed and installed; he has won 4 Emmy Awards. Mike ran CBS Network’s Transmission Operations and was a leading contributor of the design team responsible for the design and rollout of High Definition at the CBS Network in NYC. After studying Communication Arts at the University of Dayton, he served 10 years of active duty in the US Navy. Mike and his family reside in South Brunswick, NJ.
As Director of Marketing and Digital Operations, Dave Plisky has joined DeSales Media Group to digitally transform the Church in the Diocese of Brooklyn and beyond. Dave has spent 10+ years marketing across industries in Los Angeles, New York, and Prague. He graduated magna cum laude from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a degree in business, and is a certified Project Management Professional. He is an active member at his parish, the Co-Cathedral of St. Joseph in Brooklyn, NY.
Mary Kay Rail
Mary Kay Rail is Director of Human Resources, responsible for managing HR services, policies and programs for the company. She is a human resources practitioner with more than 25 years of experience. For 15 years, Mary Kay held the position of Managing Director, Head of Human Resources of the Americas, with Natixis, a leading French investment bank. She was also the lead HR service provider for First Eagle Investment Management, LLC. Mary Kay studied HR Management at Baruch and is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management. Mary Kay serves as Board Chairperson for St. Joseph the Worker Academy in Brooklyn. She and her husband, Bill, are parishioners of Holy Name and reside in Windsor Terrace and Breezy Point.
As Director of Information Technology, Fidel Sciortino Lloret is responsible for all internal enterprise applications, voice/data development, desktop support and computer technology, including collaboration, cloud computing, data center/virtualization, business continuity and disaster recovery. Earlier, Fidel served as the Technology Director at Unicef and served as a key technology advisor for video production standards at the Internet, Broadcast and Image Section. Prior to that, he designed, created and managed the IT Technical Operations and Apple technologies departments at A&E Television Networks. Fidel has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and a Graphic Design degree from Caracas, Venezuela.
Craig Tubiolo is the Director of Programming and Production, and has directed and produced award-winning films and TV shows. Craig studied communications at The College of Staten Island and has continued his education at NYU’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies. Craig is an active member at St. Athanasius parish in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn.
