2017 Catholic Day at Citi Field
The Diocese of Brooklyn and the New York Mets will host #CatholicDayNYC at Citi Field on September 9, 2017. The day will begin with a Mass celebrated in the stadium by Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio, followed by a Catholic festival featuring LIVE music, food trucks, games and Catholic activities in a family friendly atmosphere. Then watch the Mets take on the Reds at 7:10 PM. Tickets for the game may be purchased at a special rate at mets.com. Standard Mets parking rates apply. Readmission to parking will be allowed with receipt.

Family Baseball Night
The Diocese of Brooklyn is hosting a night of baseball at MCU Park on August 3, 2017 . The Brooklyn Cyclones play the Tri-City Valleycats. Valedictorians of our Catholic Schools and Academies will be honored before the Game. Auxiliary Bishop Raymond Chappetto will throw out the first pitch. $10 for field box seats. Jose Reyes bobbleheads will be given to the first 5,000 fans.

Communications Day
World Communications Day is an annual conference held by DeSales Media Group in the Diocese of Brooklyn. The event brings together religious and lay leaders and in Catholic media, entertainment and the press for a day of interactive exhibitions, panel discussions by industry innovators and workshops on topical media subjects. World Communications Day 2017 was held at the BRIC Arts Media House, a media space in Brooklyn dedicated to promoting diversity, a perfect fit for this forward-thinking celebration.

Meet Me In Church
Meet Me in Church is a DeSales Media Group initiative where parishes, schools and diocese organizations submit events and volunteer opportunities to engage Catholics with their communities, parishes and with God.  The website features not only events going on throughout the diocese and New York City but also shares program information from the Diocese of Brooklyn Secretariat for Evangelization and Catechesis.

Bishop Di Marzio Golf Classic
The annual Bishop DiMarzio Golf Classic, sponsored by the DeSales Media Group, raised $100,000 for the Sister Servants of the Lord and the Virgin of Matara. Over 130 golfers participated in the outing that was held at North Hills Country Club, Manhasset, L.I.
